Sentimental

For my graduation, I received one of the most sentimental gifts I've ever gotten from my great grandfather, Richard Clark. Needless to say, he is an amazing man. His most notable story is that he is the recipient of three purple hearts, and that is not something that you come across very often. He is just awe-inspiring. He gave me a pen set that was his when he retired from his old company Bechtel. It's a Cross ballpoint pen/ mechanical pencil set, and besides the set being brand new, and very nice quality, he sent it to me because "it will be put to use with me". He knows I write, and wants me to write with it. It may seem silly to somebody else, but to me, that is so thoughtful. I love him so much, and the pen is amazing. 

This is what the pen set looks like, except there's a gold Bechtel symbol on the little clip thing. :)
