Slip inside the eye of your mind

This week has been all sorts of random. This is probably the last time I'll have time to post until next week; I'm working 25.5 hours this upcoming week (back to school problems).

This week started off with me making a trip to the library and picking up a few books, the most important one being "In Cold Blood" by Truman Capote. It's a phenomenal book and I can't put it down. Gloria likes keeping me company while I'm curled up reading.

This week also brought about the four year anniversary of my uncle Kevin's death. We chose to celebrate his life though, rather than mourn even though it's hard not to be sad. Rest in peace Kevy.

My grandmother also came to visit for a few days, and one day her and I went to Red Bank and I picked up a few pieces from Urban Outfitters for the first time. We also went antiquing.

My friend Paul turned a skateboard deck into a longboard cruiser deck for me. It looks amazing and I'm psyched to finish putting it together

National best friend day was this week, so naturally I put together these two great pictures of me with Mikey and me with Wolfe. They both look like they really love me.

I also went apartment shopping with my friend Kelly in Queens. She's attending FIT next year and doesn't want to commute. After the two hour hellish drive there, we viewed three apartments, and then somehow ended up in Manhattan and then somehow we got home. Then fifteen minutes after I got home, I was on my way to Belmar. It was a crazy day.

Yesterday concluded my week of festivities, with a delicious "fat Joel" sandwich at Nelly's, and Coke in a glass bottle; my favorite. Now here's hoping this week at work isn't too crazy!
