Late is better than never

I've officially decided to withdraw from NaNoWriMo. I have too much going on. 

:(

I'm also currently waiting for Hurricane Sandy to hit. My classes have already been cancelled for this upcoming Monday and Tuesday (which I'm not complaining about). I still hope they're blowing it out of proportion though. 

I just recently went and purchased a few things from H&M, and I have a new found love for Betsey Johnson. She's my newest obsession. I bought a pair of "wedge flats" at work for my upcoming trips to the city, as well as a wedding that I'm attending in December, but I'm broke as hell and I can't really justify spending money on shoes I'm only going to wear a few times. It's pretty upsetting because I really like them.

I recently fell in love with Pinterest again. I've been finding lots of inspiration on it, so it makes me happy. I may not be doing NaNoWriMo but I'm writing more than I've been writing lately, so I'm content

I also went to two great shows within the last two weeks. Neil Peart is a god, that's all there is to it. Joey Cape is also very enjoyable.

I've been super nostalgic for childhood books lately. I wish I had more time to actually sit down and read them, rather than just skim through them.

Now here's to hoping Sandy isn't bad!
